Up until '91, when I bought the F2, I always owned 2 bikes at a time, so I didn't go through 'em quite as quick as it might seem. In late '90 I sold both Hurricanes and put down a deposit on the F2. I roadraced the F2 from '91 to '94. Somewhere along in there I picked up the 1100 to have for a streetbike. I sold the F2 in '94 and traded in the 1100 in August of '96 to get my RR.

I bought my ZX-9R in May of 1998 to use on a 4 Corners Tour. I took the whole month of June, 1998, off from work and rode all the way around the country. 14,300 miles in 30 days. Read more about it at http://sites.gulf.net/riders/bigtrip.htm. Also, I did a brief writeup of the radios we used and what I've found since.

I got my '96 CBR900 back from the Honda dealer (see next paragraph) and traded it in at the beginning of March '00 to get a 2000 Yamaha R6. The R6 is now my new racebike. It rocks! So far I've only raced it once - at a WERA event at Roebling Road, but it was awesome!

I traded in my '98 ZX9 and my '96 CBR900 back in November of '99 as a deposit on a '00 CBR929RR. The 929 finally arrived on Friday, April 14th. 5 months without a streetbike. Ugh! Never again. So far, I'm not sure it was worth the wait. The 929 is a great bike and so far it seems to handle significantly better than my ZX9. I'm just not sure it is 5 bikeless months and $3k better. The ZX9 was the best bike I've ever owned to date, and the 929 will have to continue to impress me to take that honor away. Time will tell...

You can read my initial impressions of the 929, if you want.

My friend Mike Case has over 250,000 miles on his stock '93 CBR900RR.

I went to Keith Code's California Superbike School on May 18th and 19th, 2000. It was at Virginia International Raceway. Read my report on it.

I raced at the Championship Cup Series event at Roebling Road in Savannah on September 2 - 3, 2000.

My friend Steve (the Blisster) Bliss has a '96 Suzuki GSX-R750 SRAD, or, as I affectionately (hah!) refer to it, an ScRAp. Geez, a 4-year old bike. How can he stand it?!

Oh, and here's my friend Chris "Tailgunner Beavis" Vonderossi in his home office after just returning from a ride in the rain.

I raced at the WERA event at Roebling on March 24 - 25, 2001. It was good fun with good friends, but I'll just have to call it a learning experience on the bike.
